I am checking out open source eLearning app for a department. Your project is has great documentation. I am a c# programmer. I am not sure if I should convert the code to C# or deploy as VB. I did VB6 long time back and should not be a problem. I am nost interested in your question/answer module. I do not need ASPNET membership roles. I will get these from our LDAP or AD. I'll keep you posted.
